NoMagic, a MagicDraw CASE tool producer, is interested in the ReDSeeDS Project achievements. During two days seminar on the future of CASE tools, which took place at the Warsaw University of Technology, representatives of NoMagic and ReDSeeDS discussed the main features of both MagicDraw and ReDSeeDS tools.
Collaboration Meeting for FP6 & FP7 projects took place in Brussels from 10th to 11th of June 2009. The ReDSeeDS booth draw an attention of many visitors and was a place of interesting discussions.
TEAM – Tightening knowledge sharing in distributed software communities by applying semantic technologies. TEAM aims at developing an open-source software system, seamlessly integrated in a software development environment for enabling decentralized, personalised and context-aware knowledge sharing. Additional details regarding this project can be found at the project website http://www.team-project.eu/.
The second official EU review of the ReDSeeDS project took place on 17 October 2008 in Brussels.
ReDSeeDS Methodology and ReDSeeDS Engine have been introduced to the first audience in 2-days workshop held in Vilnius (Lithuania).
Activities on formulating the first version of ReDSeeDS Methodology – a part of the ReDSeeDS project, has been completed.
ReDSeeDS Engine is a tool which supports development process using ReDSeeDS-specific languages and methodology. It facilitates creation of RSL-compliant requirements models, allows for tracing the vast arrays of links between the requirement and SCL-compliant design artefacts, performs automatic transformations of requirements models into architecture and detailed design models and allows for finding similar software cases.
The 2nd edition of MoRSe workshop has been accepted to be co-located with 10th International Conference on Software Reuse, 25 – 29 May 2008, Beijing China. Researchers, lecturers and practitioners are invited to submit papers (see here for a complete Call for papers). The details concerning previous MoRSe edition can be found here.
After completing works on requirements and architecture for the ReDSeeDS engine prototype, the implementation work has been started. The ReDSeeDS engine prototype is a platform which will support the ReDSeeDS methodology providing tools, editors for ReDSeeDS languages and repository for storing software cases.
A paper disseminating ReDSeeDS results entitled "Introducing a unified Requirements Specification Language" written by Michał‚ Śmiałek, Albert Ambroziewicz, Jacek Bojarski, Wiktor Nowakowski and Tomasz Straszak from Warsaw University of Technology, was given Most Promising Work-in-Progress Award at CEE-SET'07 conference.
